Afternoon all!

Hope you're all fab! Last night, I went out to The Khyber, an Indian Restaurant in Epworth, as my fantastic trainer/friend Beth is leaving me for 10 weeks (sob) to go and coach/teach kids swimming in the USA! so lucky, she'll be sending me programmes so I can carry on my swim training over the 10 weeks and also a few more exercise programmes to keep me going whilst she's away :)

None of us really did starters, but we did have a poppadom with dips each (Is it just me that thinks its just a massive crisp?)

This was a nice start to the meal as it wasn't too filling, then we all moved on to the curries.

The portion sizes are fairly big, so me and my mum shared a chicken korma, I'm not really one for much spice (I can only really handle a medium spice on my nandos!) don't call me a wuss, we're all friends here ;)

But either way, it was lovely, and despite having half, of the portion, I didn't finish it all!

We also had Pilau Rice and a little bit of Naan bread on the side, which was a nice side to it.
In all honesty, I don't know how healthy this is, feel free to look and let me know! but I know that is generous in protein and carbs... (oops).

I was good though and didn't have anything sweet afterwards though ;)

It was a lovely little send off for Beth before she goes off on her US Adventure, with that said, Beth, I hope you have a fab time and enjoy yourself! It was also lovely to meet some of the ladies she's also been training/helping with TRI 2 SWIM, keep it up ladies! :)

You all looked lovely too, spot me ;)

That's all for today, I'll update you all again soon :)
Until then,
Hayley

Now then,

Hope you're all well!

Last night I went swimming, and for the past couple of weeks, Beth has really pushed me, 26 Lengths last week, of intense front crawl and kick! really killed my legs and they were aching all the next day!

Last night, I did another swimming session with Beth, and it started off with 8 lengths of front crawl for the warm up and then I had to do 12 lengths, one of front crawl as fast as I could, and then for a recovery length, breast stroke, so it would be front crawl, breast stroke, front crawl, breaststroke, etc etc, you get the picture, so it was 6 lengths each.

Then to try something different, she made me wear these:

 Yes, they are flippers...
And FYI - I have naturally large wide feet haha.

I did 8 lengths with these one, 4 in backcrawl but with using the butterfly method and my legs and my arms stretched to work my abdominal and then 4 lengths just kicking with my arms crossed across my chest to work my legs a bit more.
Safe to say that I was aching afterwards, and them flippers really make you work harder, but they do help you go faster!

So if you have access to some flippers, give it a try! - I'll be interested to see how you get on!

That's all from me today, I'll post again soon,
Until then,
Hayley

A'up... Is it me you're looking for?

Now then!

Hope you're all enjoying your bank holiday weekend! Mines had a fab start, headed off to Meadowhall today in Sheffield with my trainer Beth, as she leaves and heads off to America in a couple of weeks to coach kids swimming, which is dead cool. so we had a girly afternoon shopping for her trip (which she did very well in to be fair and probably burnt a slight hole in her purse! :p) but it struck me how fussy eaters like me can struggle whilst out in a shopping centre and eating!

So we headed to Wagamama's - which if you're reading from beyond the UK, is a japanese food and noodle bar, it is a little pricey but the food is fab!

Before I go on, I'm finally going to put a face to the name, this is Beth, director of TRI 2 SWIM and my fab trainer!

by the way, both of us trying to eat with chopsticks = hilarious ;)

For drinks we both opted for 2 green teas, which at Wagamamas are FREE (take advantage of that when you visit!)
The green tea is so refreshing and its just a nice compliment to the type of meal we were having!

We both opted for starters, Beth had the 'chilli squid' (which was b-e-a-u-t {Beautiful for you lot living outside of Yorkshire ;) })

I opted for the 'lollipop prawn kushiyaki' which is basically skewers of grilled prawns marinated in lemongrass lime and chilli. glazed with a sweet-sour and hot sauce and served with a caramelised lime! - It had a really nice kick to it and was a nice start to the meal!

Then, for the mains, whilst Beth had a chicken raisukaree curry (as pictured above), which is made up of chicken stir-fried in a coconut and lime curry sauce with mangetout, peppers, red and spring onions. served on sticky white rice and garnished with red chillies, coriander and lime! Beth seemed to really enjoy it! Whilst I went for a Yaki Soba - which is supposed to consist of teppan-fried soba noodles with chicken, shrimps, egg, beansprouts, peppers, white and spring onions. garnished with fried shallots, pickled ginger and mixed sesame seeds...
But I'm dead fussy, so I basically had noodles, egg, shrimp and chicken in sauce, but it was nice all the same ha! - but the great thing about Wagamama's is that they make it how you want it fresh, which is fab, maybe one day I can try the same dish with some of the added goodness... watch this space!

lovely little shot of all our food - decent servings too!

Like I said, Wagamama's is a little bit pricey, but it definitely has its perks, give it a try if you happen to stumble across one! :)

Now for my drink I had later on!

Meadowhall have a franchise in the centre called 'Boost Juice' - which is amazing, but again, a little bit pricey, if you need that extra fruity energy boost on the go, I would rather have this than costa/starbucks (sorry!)

But I had a regular, which is priced at £4.30 (yep, little pricey!) but the small is £4.10, so for 20p extra, its worth getting a little more in my opinion...

Massive thanks and shout out to the lasses that laughed at me taking a photo of my cup, hope I amused you ;)

My smoothie was from the low fat range, but there's more than just this, check out their site:

www.boostjuicebars.co.uk/

I went for Mango Magic, which was amazing! tasted so good and refreshing.
It's a basic mix of mango, banana, mango nectar, no fat milk, TD4 vanilla yoghurt & ice, and it gave me a good energy boost to finish off the shopping trip! They have loads of different flavours, so if you happen to stumble across one, give it a try, you can often see them doing cute little sample cups :)

On a final note, I will say that I'm not endorsed/paid to promote Meadowhall, Wagamama's or Boost Juice in anyway - all my own opinion :)

Hope you have a great finish to the bank holiday!
See ya!

A'up, Now Then, etc.

Today has been non-stop again! I'd genuinely say I'm busier now than I was when I was at university! which is crazy.

This morning, I had a clean cooked breakfast which consisted of one sausage, 2 scrambled eggs, 1 slice of wholemeal toast and one small piece of black pudding, which was fab to start the day!

For lunch, I was on the go visiting my Nanna and 2 of my other relatives, so it was a simple prawn sandwich!

I was still a bit peckish (ha, I think peckish is a funny word, don't you?) and I snacked on a bit of popcorn!

It was Coconut and Sweet Vanilla flavoured popcorn, I wasn't sure about it at first myself but it's actually really nice! - it's available at Tesco, pink packaging! not sure on the price, but its pretty low on calories too! and even Alfie seemed interested! (or just plain begging as per usual!)

For Tea it was burgers with home made chunky chips and brocolli, silly me forgot to take a photo, so if I have it again anytime soon I'll make sure I get a photo :)

And also tonight, I headed to the swimming pool for my work out, and its safe to say that Beth pushed me tonight, definite gut buster! I swam at least 25 lengths (Beth if you're reading feel free to correct me!) and it was just constant swimming of 2 lengths front crawl, then 2 lengths holding onto a float then kicking (she did let me have a couple of breaks, Beth isn't that evil ;) hahaha!)

But it was definitely a good work out and boost I needed for the day :)

That's all for today, I will be back tomorrow with more progress!

So until then,
 Hayley
xo

Now then,

Sorry its been a few days, been ridiculously busy and it's all gone incredibly quickly!
Tonight's post is only going to be a short one about my exercise regime tonight and something else I'll be starting tomorrow!

So tonight, I went to the gym for an hour, and did an intense workout, and pushed myself a fair bit tonight, as I didn't do much exercise yesterday (naughty!), and the gym was really quiet, which is always a bonus! so tonight I did:

15 mins on the bike - Hill setting - Kilimanjaro (Ironically, it felt like it could kill a man... ha?)

My legs took a bit of a battering on this one, tried to keep my heart rate up and keep 'in the zone' if you like without pushing myself too hard as this was sort of my warm up/starting exercise! - But it's a great tool to get going!

Next I moved onto some of the more weight related activities, to be honest, most days for me are leg days (ouch) but I need to mix it up a bit to keep my pushing my body to shift the weight, so I to start with, I did the following:

25kg Downpress - 35 reps
15kg Seated leg press - 35 reps
25kg Abdominal Press - 20 reps

I know 15-25kg isn't the heaviest in the world but I'm still quite unfit and at the beginning of my journey so I'm hoping that it'll get heavier and I'll get stronger as time goes on, have faith in me! :) and I did take my time, because I do have a previous knee injury and I didn't want to do it in, its not about speed, its about quality, and I'd rather take my time and do it properly than do it fast and do myself in haha!

Next I did 10 mins on the cross trainer, an activity that I actually don't mind!

And finally for the final activity/cool off - I did 10 mins on the treadmill on the hill setting, which had different inclines and speeds for me to try, I even managed a bit of light jogging on it! (gasp!) which as I stated in a previous post, how much I despise jogging/running, so it only means that I'm only getting stronger!

So that's my workout for today, one more thing I'm going to cover tonight, which is a little activity I'm going to do over 30 days, which I'm sure you've all heard of! :

I'll be starting this tomorrow as part of my regime, just a little added extra that might work the parts of my body that aren't getting as much attention in the gym or on other work outs! So we'll see how this goes each day I'm determined to go the full 30 days this time! the furthest I've got to previously is 12 before the aching got too much, so lets see if I can smash my personal best haha!

So, that's all for tonight, I'll be back tomorrow with another little update for you all, so until then, see you later!
Hayley

Morning!

For today's blog I thought I would do something a little bit different, I understand that when you're trying to lose weight, your cravings can go crazy, especially when you're passing by your weaknesses or they're all around you, like when someone's eating a dominoes pizza or you drive by a KFC or your sibling is eating chocolate or sweets, it's a right pain and I can probably speak for most dieters when I say 'we've all been there'.

So I've come up with a couple of alternatives for 'sweet treats' if you like.

First of all, my favourite, is ice lollies!
Yep, Summer is coming and everyone is going to be lapping up with the ice cream and topping up their suntan, but ice cream/ice lollies generally have a lot of sugar in them, meaning its a general sin when it comes to dieting.
All you need is a blender, fruit of your choice and some ice lolly moulds:

I used my nutribullet, and I opted for 2 different types of lolly, one was a simple banana milkshake, one broken up banana and milk filled up to the max line in my container and poured into two of my ice lolly moulds.

the other two moulds were filled up of a blended mix of strawberries, blueberries and water - I can stress that this does have sugar in it, but not added sugar, it's natural sugars from the fruit which makes it a little bit better for you!

So if you're relaxing in the sun, having a BBQ or just fancy a nice cold sweet treat, then give them a go! You won't be missing out and it's a good alternative.

My ice lolly moulds were only £2 from Matalan :)

Another alternative is popcorn, seriously! - It's made from corn, a vegetable ;)
Assuming you don't have loads of added stuff to it, its a great snack if you're craving or if you're just sitting down in a movie, my favourite variety is this:

Metcalfe's Skinny Topcorn - Sweet and Salt flavour, there is a tiny bit of sugar in this because of the sweet flavour, but it is made to be a healthy snack, so it's fab, it comes in a variety of flavours and there are big(ish) bags like the one in the photo, or they come in small crisp size packets, I know they're available in Sainsbury's and poundland, but I'll let you know if I spot them elsewhere!

One more great snack, which is affordable and great to try new things! Is a graze box!
At £3.99 per box, you can set it to however frequent you wish, so weekly, fortnightly, monthly etc. - Also you go online and choose what you don't like, what you love, like and want to try so they can send you a variety :) And recently they've done a promotion where your 1st, 5th and 10th box is free! which is great if you stick it out and if you're not keen, you can cancel at anytime :)

The contents of my last box was mini pretzels with a chocolate dip, a strawberry and yoghurt 'granola topper' some breadsticks and peanut butter spread and applewood smoked beef jerky with a tomato relish.

These are fab if you're on the go, they're small portions so you're not over doing it and they'll fit in your handbag/pocket, plus its a nice tiny filler if you're hungry between meals, give the a try!

So that concludes the snacks for today, I'll try and find some more to blog about in the near future :)

So until later
Hayley

Now then,

Once again, sorry for the no show post yesterday! Had a pretty busy day and then I topped it off with swimming with Beth last night, safe to say I woke up aching this morning ha!

I'll start with yesterdays food posts I guess :)

Breakfast was Weetabix and Banana, which again, I've already featured - I promise I'll find something new to feature soon!

For lunch, it was a small portion of spaghetti bolognese with the carb free 'slim pasta' - the same range as the 'slim noodles' I tried when I first started this blog! - It was a satisfying and filling meal, which meant I could keep going before my tea/swim work out!

Afterwards, as a little treat, my mum had made me some homemade ice cream, but not just any, it's literally made up of bananas and blueberries! whizzed up in my NutriBullet and then frozen, it's a bit like a sorbet, but I loved it! was a nice refreshing treat and it was quite warm yesterday :)

You could probably try it with most fruit(s) but the banana adds a good base for freezing and take it from me, it was delicious :)
Even Alfie couldn't help but be interested!

Such a nosey dog!

Anyway, for tea last night, we had one of my favourite things ever, pulled pork! (amazing) - this took ALL DAY to cook in the slow cooker, but it was worth it!
I accompanied it with a salad, which included salad leaves (of some sort), strawberry pieces, kiwi pieces and a vingerette dressing - I know it sounds gross, but it actually goes well!

The pulled pork is amazing though.

So that was yesterday... today I must admit I've had a bit of a crappy day, I just feel a bit slow and like I'm not making much progress, that was earlier anyway, but its important to understand that EVERYONE, even the slimmest of us have our down days about our appearance and figure and the key is to keep going, which is why tonight I tried a 'BodyJam' class at my gym, honestly not my cup of tea but you have to try new things! and it doesn't hurt to give it a go once :)
But for breakfast, I had an omlette with parma ham and a tiiiiiiny bit of mozzarella - which was a good way to start the day.

Lunch was a warbutons thin with salmon and philedelphia, again - no photo (I do apologise!)

Tonight for tea, we had loads of left over pulled pork, so I had some 50/50 white/wholegrain wraps, spinach and pulled pork and it was fab :)

Doesn't look like much, but there was two of them! - but great as a filler for tea :)

Anyway - tomorrow morning I'll be in the gym again and I'll be updating you tomorrow night!

So until then,
Hayley
xo

Now then.

Lets start with some fab fab fab news! I know I'm not meant to weigh myself often - but I was so curious and it didn't disappoint! I've lost 4 pounds! I know its not a lot but its definitely a good start!

But moving onto today's activities - This morning, I had 2 boiled eggs and toasted soldiers (1 slice of toast) - I've already featured this meal before, So I didn't bother taking a photo!

Lunch was again another already featured meal - warbutons wholegrain thins with mozzarella, sundried tomatoes, parma ham and spinach - no pesto this time though, we've ran out and didn't have the ingredients to make anymore :(

And for tea, it was my shake as I went to the gym afterwards :)

Although, for a snack (wait for it) it was an apple.

FYI - I only chop up apple because I have veneers on my two front teeth, call me over cautious but I don't want to jepodise them coming off!
But on the plus side - It makes it last a little bit longer :)

But moving onto my workout today!

Warm up - 10 minutes of light cross trainer work
Then:
10 minutes on the step machine
15 minutes on the bike machine
15 minutes on treadmill (Hill setting again)
then to cool off 5 minutes of light walking on the treadmill.

The machines at my gym are called "Life Fitness"
Above is the basic layout of the treadmill, really easy and simple to use and if you have an iPod/iPhone 4/4s you can charge and listen to any music etc through the machine - I do think you can use it for iPhone 5/5s/5c/6/6+ (Forgot how many iPhone models there were!) if you have an adapter - which is worth knowing if you want to plug it in!
There's numerous settings, including fat burn, cardio, calorie, personal trainer, hill and quick start - if your local gym has these machines though, be sure to ask a trainer how to use them if you get stuck! as it looks a bit complicated at first.

Tomorrow - I'm having pulled pork for tea (amazing!) so I'll feature and review that tomorrow, and I'll be doing some more swim training with Beth from Tri 2 Swim tomorrow night :)

I'll update you on that tomorrow night/Thursday morning :)!
Until then
Hayley
xo

Now then,

What a busy day! Today I haven't taken any pictures of my meals except my tea because I've featured them before, my tea was a simple shake before I went to the gym :)

Breakfast was porridge, standard! filled me up before I had to get up and out! Then for lunch I had a salmon, philedelphia and curly kale wholegrain bagel.

Before I go on to my protein shake - I'll share my workout for the day with you!

Who doesn't love a 'cheeky' (sorry) selfie before the gym? ha. - Today I did the following -
Warm up: 5 minutes on the step machine
Then:
10 minutes on the bike machines
15 minutes on the cross trainer
15 minutes on a different bike machine
then 20 minutes on the hill setting on the treadmill (that one killed my legs!)
then a 5 minute cool off on the treadmill too!

Left feeling a bit sore (good sore!) and it's safe to say that I definitely got the gym bug!
As much as I don't mind going to the gym by myself, its definitely better when you've got someone with you! So if you want to be one of my gym buddies - then hit me up!

Anyway - onto my tea (sort of):

In my previous post(s) I've featured my bag of weight loss protein powder - this is the vanilla cookie one - I had one (300ml of milk, 1 + 1/4 scoop of protein annnnnd SHAKE) for my tea before I went to the gym (as it says on guidelines) then another one after the gym (again - following the guidelines on the back, same measurements!).

Definitely gives you that extra energy and push and is a nice refreshment afterwards! I'm going to get through my vanilla cookie one first then start on my chocolate one, so I'll update on that one when I've tried it!

You can have it with water instead but in my opinion it tastes much nicer with milk!

Anyway - moving on!
Here's the screenshot of my app today:

Didn't quite hit my sleep target - but I wasn't far off, but once again, I smashed the steps target and I did 70 mins of cardio in the gym - and I have a decent food score of 8.3 out of 10 which is always a positive!

Right then, that's that - I'll update you lovely people tomorrow!

See ya!
Hayley

A'up.

For a sunday, today has gone ridiculously quickly. Started the day off with a bit of a lazy lie in, and then a decent cooked breakfast (cheers Dad!)

Of course It was still in moderation, so one rasher of bacon, one sausage, a small bit of black pudding, 2 scrambled eggs and half a slice of wholegrain toast! Left me feeling incredibly satisfied and happy, especially since I was going to make a big sunday dinner later!

But before that, despite being rest day, I did want to get out and do some form of exercise, so I opted for a walk with my family and Alfie, but also joining us was one of my best friends Sadie, and her two adorable dogs Bailey and Tia!

I'm holding Tia and Sadie has hold of Bailey, Alfie was in the background but moved just as the photo was being taken! All together, we walked for about 1 hour and 40 minutes and covered just over 3 miles! I also smashed my daily steps target for the day, which is always a bonus!

A little screenshot from my up app, I managed to get a decent sleep, did a 110 minute walk and over 6000 steps, and I also got a decent food score of 7.5/10 (The healthier your food, the higher you score!)
So all in all, today has been a winner in my book!

Finally tea. - I made Sunday Dinner (YES, I actually made it all by myself, boys form a queue to wife me.) - anyway I will say it was stressful and I probably snapped at my mum a few times for getting in the way (sorry mum!) but all in all, from the food we had in the house, I think I did overall a pretty decent job!

My plate consisted of Pork Loin, Mash Potato, Kale, Brocolli and Gravy - and it tasted fab!
Tomorrow I have a busy day ahead of me - and no doubt I'll be heading to the gym at somepoint!

So until then,
Hayley
xo

Now then,

Final post of the day!
I'm not posting about breakfast, as it was just one of my shakes to give me a bit of energy before I went to the gym this morning!

Anyway, Lunch!

Lunch was simple, Heinz Tomato soup with Basil and a few chia seeds, accompanied by a wholegrain mini bread roll, was enough to get me through until tea :)

Now for tea...
I made Pizza!
Dough and all :)

The dough was wholegrain and I used a tomato base to cover it - with mozarella, chicken, spinach, parma ham and normal ham.
The best thing about making your own means that you can make it as thin/thick or as big/small as you want! I would say this was medium sized and I was definitely ready for it wise! If anyone wants to know how to make the dough, let me know, if not, I'm sure there's plenty of recipes online that you can look at :)

For a snack, just had a chopped up green (Granny Smith's of course...) Apple :)

Overall today I feel refreshed and satisfied and happy with myself.
Happy days!
That's all for today - I'll catch up with you all tomorrow.
Until then,
Hayley
xo

Now then,

Hope you're all good! - thought I'd share a little progress, I went to the gym early this morning and did an hour of intense cardio.
Safe to say now, that I'm aching like hell and its going to hurt in the morning!
Tomorrow it's sunday, which means a rest day (sort of) - but I will be doing snippets of Charlotte Crosby's 3 Minute Belly Blitz DVD, so I can review it for you all, but apart from that:

 Chandler knows.
Anyway!
This morning I did 20 minute warm up on cross-trainer, 20 minutes on the step machine, 10 minutes on the bike, then 10 minutes jog on the treadmill, with a small cool off with walking on the treadmill, safe to say my legs took a bit of a beating the past couple of days!

With that said, I'll update you with a food post later :)

Until then!
Hayley
xo

Now then,

Apologies for the lateness, once again, busy day!
This morning, I did something incredibly rare (for me anyway) - I actually went for a run/jog!
Can I just state this now... (those of you who know me well will already know this!)
I HATE running/jogging with a passion, but, I did it.
There is a quiet road round the corner from mine where there's just a bit of farmland, and a bit of incline too, so after some warm up stretches (very important!) I did a minute of jogging/running, then rather than stopping, I did either 10 squats, 20 bunny jumps or 20 step outs, very testing and painful but it'll all be worth it, (no pain, no gain and all that jazz).
I repeated this multiple times over the course of an hour, like I said, it was painful and hard, but this is the start of the journey, here's hoping that it will get a lot easier!

I'll be getting up early tomorrow to go to the gym :) update on that tomorrow!

Today's meals were as followed!

Breakfast - porridge oats with a tiny bit of algrave honey mixed in, a healthy and different start to my day!
I must stress that I had this post-run, to prevent stitches, and so I could burn off more fat I already had in my body! - was definitely refreshing after exercise!

Lunch, was my favourite of salmon pasta, I didn't bother with a photo as it already featured in one of my previous posts, if you're interested though, take a look! :)

 Finally, Tea.

What most of you don't know, is that I used to live in the North East near Middlesbrough for a while, and those from the area will of heard of the delicacy known as the chicken parmo.
It's so so so bad, but so so so good at the same time, usually served with chips, salad and garlic sauce if you wanted. The parmo itself is usually tenderized chicken covered in breadcrumbs, bechamel Sauce and cheese. - It's basically heart attack on a plate, so I decided to make a healthier version of the famous parmo.
Tenderized chicken fillet, with parma ham, sundried tomatoes, mozarella and breadcrumbs, and served with mashed potato instead of chips, and a bit of brocolli to add some goodness in.
All round a decent meal!

Like I mentioned earlier, tomorrow I'll be up early to go to the gym before its busy!
I'll update you after,
Goodnight!
Hayley

Before Photos

Now then,

Hope you're all good! This is the hardest post for me so far, I've been dreading this since starting it up, but before I went on my run/jog this morning with Beth, we took my before pictures...

I understand completely that I have a long long way to go yet, but with the motivation and encouragement I've recieved so far, I'm going to try and make it possible!

Honestly, I look in the mirror everyday and I am embarrassed, I know I'm not the biggest girl in the world, but I'm definitely not the slimmest, I am 100% certain that I will be much happier with myself once I shed some of this weight and shift that booty down to a smaller scale!
Those who know me don't tend to see full body photos of me, and now, you know why, I hate being in front of the camera unless I'm taking it myself.
I am so determined to fight this and I hope you will continue following my progress as I carry on, because you know what?

 And I will.
Even if I look ridiculous and awful whilst doing it I will.
'This Girl Can' is a fantastic campaign for women who want to exercise and get fit, I suggest everyone checks it out (again, not paid to promote or endorse this campaign in anyway!) and it's this campaign that gives me more encouragement to keep on going.
Thank you to all of you that are still following my progress, I really appreciate it.
I will update you on my food and workout later.

So until tonight
Hayley
xo

Now then,

What a mad couple of days! Has been none stop!
That being said, I'm no longer a student and now classed as unemployed... (sob) hoping that will soon change!

So now also no longer a Sheffield resident, back at home, which also means great quality meals again too! (yay!) So watch this space for new dishes and whatnot :)

So last night, I had my first training session at the pools with my fab trainer Beth from Tri 2 Swim! A massive shoutout and thanks to her for being so patient and overall brilliant, she pushed me to my limits and taught me new techniques to help me get the most out of my swimming workouts!
TRI 2 SWIM is a team of coaches that specialise in swim correction and technique, training those who compete in swimming events, such as triathalons, or just want to correct your swimming technique, they also also help with problems such as fear of water, learning to swim or if you're like me, just helping to get fit and healthy/lose weight, check out their facebook page, give them a tri ;) (pun fully intended...)

https://www.facebook.com/tri2swimepworth?fref=ts

Tomorrow, I will be posting the thing I've been dreading the most since starting this blog...
My before photos... I know for a fact I will hate hate hate this, but it will hopefully help you see a difference and just give me that extra push to keep going!

So what else did I do today? Oh yeah...

I joined the gym, definitely no excuse and no going back now!
I also had my induction, which was an interesting experience, needed to be done and I got pushed hard to work the muscles so I could shed the weight I wanted (In all honesty it probably wasn't a massive limit, but I've just started and I'm still really unfit ha, so give me chance ;).)

Quick snap before I headed off to my induction, hot right?
I'll keep you updated daily on any workouts/any planned workouts in the near future...

Might as well finish with a small food input, snapped a photo of my tea for you all, a decent balance I reckon:

Rump steak, Kale, Brocolli and Mash potato with gravy, a decent balance between carbs, veg and protein to fill me after my workout today...
Steak was purchased from my local butchers, fresh and it tasted amazing! - Could not of got much better tonight.

That's it for today, I'll update you again tomorrow, it's really started, lets get this booty shifted!
Until tomorrow
